The right support doesn’t just change behavior — it changes everything.
You recognize the early signs of a behavior storm and know how to shift course...feeling calm, prepared, and in control.
You say yes to dinner out as a family, knowing you have the tools to make it not only manageable, but enjoyable.
You look forward to vacations again, not because they’ll be perfect, but because they won’t leave you depleted.
You teach your child new skills like asking for what they need or handling big emotions in ways they can understand.
You respond in tough moments like meltdowns and aggression with more confidence and less self-doubt, knowing you're not just reacting, you're helping them settle.
You stop wondering if you’re doing it right, and start trusting that you are.
It’s not about being perfect — it’s about having a behavior analyst in your corner to help you navigate each new challenge with clarity and confidence. So you can go from constantly bracing for the next meltdown… to calmly knowing how to respond when it comes.
Inside the Rooted Community
Your membership includes unlimited access to every training, live session, and resource listed below. It’s all available to you — no paywalls, no extra charges, just support that meets you where you are.
Each month, we’ll focus on real-life topics that matter most to you with live trainings from behavior analysts and insight from trusted professionals like OTs, SLPs, and wellness coaches. Sample topics include: improving sleep/toileting/eating, stress regulation for parents, sensory strategies to improve your child's regulation, responding to meltdowns, etc.
Join live sessions where you can ask questions, get personalized guidance, and hear from other caregivers navigating similar challenges — all in a supportive, judgment-free space.
All group sessions and trainings are recorded and added to our online platform, so you can watch (or rewatch) whenever it works for you. Parenting doesn’t follow a schedule — and your support shouldn’t have to either.
Get access to ready-to-use resources that align with each topic we cover so you can spend less time making a visual schedule and more time playing with your child. We will include visual supports, choice boards, checklists and more. Everything is customizable to your family’s needs, and if you need something specific, just ask — we’ve got you.
You’ll be invited into a private community of fellow parents where you can share your wins, challenges, and everything in between. It’s a space for connection, encouragement, and questions — with opportunities to get answers from a behavior analyst along the way.
Real Talk from a Real Parent
"Potty training was one of our biggest challenges as caregivers. We were feeling so discouraged until we started working with Lauren. She collected data, identified barriers, and tailored our plan to our child’s values and what he found most motivating to help him learn this new skill. It made the process feel manageable and gave us back our confidence as caregivers. I don’t think we would have survived potty training without her!"
Once the Rooted Community opens in August, you can get started in three easy steps.
Sign up for the monthly Rooted Community Membership using the button below. If the monthly fee feels out of reach at this time, you can email Lauren for the sliding scale policy.
You will get immediate access to all previously recorded trainings and group Q+As, downloadable resources, and our private online community.
We take the time to truly understand each family in the Rooted Community. Once you join, you'll get an email from Lauren at lauren@bettercareconsult.com to schedule your virtual assessment. It’s our way of making sure your support starts off personal, intentional, and designed just for you.

Giving parents back their time is one of the main reasons I created this program. By helping parents learn how to help themselves and help their child, my goal is to cut out ABA therapy that would otherwise monopolize 20+ hours a week. Also, all resources are on demand so you can listen to them in the same places you would listen to your favorite podcast: on your commute, doing dishes, going for a run, in the shower, etc.
I care deeply about making this financially accessible, while still acknowledging that this community offers more value than you would find elsewhere. Let's break down what you would pay for these services somewhere else:
Individual Assessment: $1,250
Group Sessions: $100/hour
Virtual Workshops: $45/each
Printable Resources: $10/each
On-Call BCBA for Questions: $125/week
Total Cost/Month: ~$900
These same resources are available to you at the standard rate of $97/month.
We also offer sliding scale pricing for the Rooted Community. See document linked above for more information. If your family needs the supported or reduced rate, please email Lauren so that this can be accommodated.
This is really a question for you! While I have some topics planned already, each month will be tailored to the needs of current members. Some possible topics include: creating social stories, feeding, toileting, sleep, sibling interactions, encouraging communication, sensory needs, etc. Some month we will have special guest speakers from other disciplines to compliment the behavior analytic information I share.
Each family will have an opportunity to share what is going on in their home and ask questions related to their child.
If a family requires additional support than what can be provided inside the group context, they have the option to schedule an individual meeting with Lauren. 1:1s typically cost $155/hour for non-members, and will be offered at a rate of $125/hour for members.
I know connection matters most, and I want the tools to support it with intention."
You’ve probably heard “there’s no manual for this” — but that doesn’t mean you have to figure it all out alone.
Rooted in Care is a values-based caregiver support program designed to help you move from just getting through the day to building meaningful, sustainable routines that actually work — for your child and for you.
You already know what matters most:
– Your relationship with your child
– Their unique strengths and sensitivities
– A rhythm that reflects your family, not someone else's checklist
You’re doing the work. You see your child.
But knowing what matters and knowing how to make it all work in the middle of sensory overload, stress, and everyday life — that’s where Rooted in Care comes in.
You don’t need more information — you need guidance that helps you take what you already know and turn it into something that’s doable, repeatable, and rooted in connection.
This is where we do that — together.
We’re here to help you prevent and respond to the behaviors that leave you feeling overwhelmed — so you can go from unsure and exhausted to confident and in control.
