The vision is simple...
...and we have something for everyone
Better Care was born out of one common problem...clinicians want to do better, and they either don't know where to start or are feeling alone on the journey.
Here, we believe that no matter where you are on the journey to being a values-based clinician, you deserve to be met where you're at...whether you just heard about neurodiversity yesterday or have been doing this work for years.
It's not easy to go against the grain, especially when the systems we work in are designed for the old school mentality.
But guess what? We know that this field can be better than the old school...and it starts with us.
Browse our library of continuing education event. It expands each month, and covers topics from strength-based report writing to trauma-informed care.
Did you know that our community mentorship program has continuing education, monthly group mentorship meetings, and a closed-community of like-minded professionals all rolled into one? You didn't? Well you might want to check it out!
Are you an organization looking to give your BCBAs continuing education that actually lands? Look no further. Email Lauren to plan your event.

Meet the Founder
M.Ed., BCBA, LBS, CTP
Hi there, and welcome! My name is Lauren, and I am the owner and founder of Better Care Consulting.
I have a background in psychology with an undergraduate degree from West Chester University and a Master’s in Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Temple University. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Certified Trauma Professional, and an Adjunct Professor at Temple University.
Over the course of my career, I've gained experience working in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, clinics, communities, and residential facilities. I've worked for both large and small companies, including privately owned businesses and private-equity backed organizations. Each experience has shaped my understanding of what truly matters in providing quality care.
My clinical areas of focus include Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT), caregiver consultation, organizational behavior management (OBM), and school systems/education consultation. What I’ve learned over the years is that meaningful care goes beyond helping my clients fit in. It’s about helping them thrive authentically in a world which was not designed with their needs in mind.
Better Care Consulting was born from the realization that if I wanted to be part of the change I wished to see in this field, I needed to do something differently than what is currently being done. My goal is to offer care that empowers individuals to build a life that feels true to who they are, with the confidence to navigate challenges and advocate for themselves.
I also love sharing the science of behavior analysis in ways that are approachable, practical, and fun. Whether through professional development or mentorship, I strive to make complex topics accessible and engaging for those I work with.
Ultimately, my mission is to help individuals live authentically, feel empowered, and thrive.
If that resonates with you, I’d love to connect!
Better Care was created with the simple goal of making high-quality, compassionate care available to everyone. We believe learning is most powerful in community, where curiosity and connection drive change. Our mission is to provide continuing education that is research-driven yet relatable—turning complex concepts into clear, actionable strategies. Grounded in neuroaffirming and trauma-informed practices, every event equips BCBAs, BCaBAs, and student analysts with empathy, confidence, and practical tools for their work.
